Sri Lanka is reeling under an economic crisis directly stemming from the inability of successive leaders to govern the country in a manner acceptable to the peoples of Sri Lanka.

We therefore, hereby request your voice to call for the presentation of a bill to the parliament of Sri Lanka, nullifying the Republic Status declared in 1971. Upon passing of this bill, pursuant to the recognition from Her Majesty the Queen, the dominion status of Sri Lanka under the British crown shall be reinstated.

Further, we call for your support to put forth unto a referendum for the people of Sri Lanka, their further willingness to become direct subjects of Her Majesty the Queen, as an overseas territory of the United Kingdom.

Upon the passing of this referendum, we sincerely hope the British parliament will take the necessary steps to confirm and codify the status of Sri Lanka as a overseas territory of the United Kingdom.
