I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!
After the new year, I am considering attending the next meeting of Polmont Community Council on Monday 26th January in order to raise my concerns and to tell them about this active petition. The impact of not having a direct hospital bus from anywhere in the Braes must be significant, far beyond Polmont.
However, people are their own worst enemy as they don't use it and they wonder why they lose it but I'd say we deserve at least one hospital bus in the Braes. For workers like myself, it's bad enough using the buses to try and get in for a 9am start (never mind 7 or 8), as I would have to leave the house at 7:30 because you can't take any chances. I don't think there has been any consideration of the detrimental impact that this is having, but as long as these greedy self-centred morons are getting their cushy wage they couldn't give a hoot!
Both Falkirk Council & McGill’s buses really need to get their priorities right, not everyone has cars or can afford taxis, parking at the hospital is absolutely horrendous and our council tax has went up by 15% (the highest increase in Scotland).
Please keep signing & sharing, we need to keep fighting for this to change.
