Reinstate Cruise Pontoon Pedal Boats at Harveston Lake

Reinstate Cruise Pontoon Pedal Boats at Harveston Lake
The Issue
For many of us, the Cruise Pontoon Pedal Boats at Harveston Lake hold a special place in our hearts. Not only did they provide a delightful attraction, they also stood for accessibility and inclusivity in our community. These boats were more than just a boat; they allowed people of all ages and physical abilities to enjoy the beauty of our lake. With their flat decks, boarding was made easy for the elderly and those physically challenged too.
The Cruise Pontoon Pedal Boats served as a unique platform for social interactions. Conversations flourished, connections were established, families and neighbors bonded, and even our beloved 4-legged friends got to enjoy the immersive experience of cruising down Harveston Lake.
Imagine the joy of a grandparent teaching their grandchild to pedal the boat, or a person with limited mobility getting to peacefully enjoy the lake views. These experiences were invaluable and, for some, irreplaceable. The memories once made on these boats have since become unattainable for some, directly affecting the lives of our community's members.
After hearing from members of the community, Temecula City Council members are considering bringing back Cruise Pontoons for the 2025 Summer Season. The funding of who would purchase the Cruise Pontoons is still being explored - whether they would be purchased by the city, by the boat dock operator, or by another third-party entity.
Share your voice and support City Council reinstating the Cruise Pontoon Pedal Boats at Harveston Lake. Your signature can help restore these wonderful experiences for everyone in our community.
