Coach Walsh is like a father to us on and off the field and has devoted a big part of his life to Taft's Football Program. It is unfair to take away Coach Walsh's spot as head coach and give to someone who we hardly know, especially since we will be competing against the toughest teams in Chicagoland next year and we need a coaching staff we are comfortable with to compete to our full extent. Coach Walsh and his staff have taught us and all the alumni Taft Football players not only how to succeed on the field but also how to be a better person off the field. It would be disheartening to have different coaches for this program for the following years to come.
