Our baseball team at Justin Garza High School has experienced undue upheaval with the dismissal of our second baseball coach in 2 years. Our most recent coach, Chad Rothford, has been a guiding force for our young players, teaching them not only about the game but about life. His dismissal without justification continues a disturbing trend that disrupts our team's stability and performance.

Merely two years back, we faced the same circumstance when Zak Colby was fired. Please help me to understand how 2 men who are both well known in the Central Valley and beyond for their own careers, stats and accomplishments in baseball and their coaching records and business or even pod casts have been so successful  yet, they both get fired from this School District? Once again, our young players are being denied the continuity, guidance, and leadership necessary for their growth and the team's success. Frequent changes can impact performance and players' morale negatively. Studies have shown that consistency in leadership has a direct correlation with team performance and success (Goddard, 2001).

Coach Rothford's influence on the team was instrumental in achieving a remarkable improvement in our team's overall performance and morale.  His dedication, sportsmanship, and leadership, are virtues that cannot be replaced overnight. This pattern of instability sends a negative message to our young athletes and harms the integrity of our coaching system.

Therefore, we urge the decision-makers to reconsider their decision and reinstate Chad Rothford as the head baseball coach, for the betterment of our team and future athletes. It's time to restore stability, respect, and fairness to our sports program.An investigation needs to be done with the Human Resource Department which heads the hiring and firing. I have proof proving that the Head of Human Resources was trying to pouch coaches from 3 other high schools before any investigation was conducted or during the so called investigation. There is proof that Coach Rothford tried to get hired in numerous positions and was told to stop contacting the Head of Human Resources about it. Who else should a person contact? Both coaches were fired because of a staff member at Justin Garza who filed a complaint using the correct words to make it happen. How can 760 verified signatures all have it wrong yet, this school is on its 3rd Principal in 3 years,our AD is on administrative leave and the trainer was just fired as well. Do you as a board sleep well at night knowing there is no trainer available of any practices or games being played this season? I am asking no I’m am begging this board to do the right thing and Stand with us and do not ignore this petition because together, we can make a difference help us to all Stand For More.
