Before this school year, we attended high school with a sense of structure, and the C Day schedule was a big part of that. It gave our week a flow we could count on, something that made managing school a little less chaotic. Now, without it, many of us feel off balance, and it’s taking a toll as we try to adjust to these sudden changes.

According to a survey by the American Psychological Association, 30% of teens reported feeling sad or depressed because of stress, with academic pressure being one of the main causes. A lot of us are feeling this stress right now—some of us are even part of that statistic. Bringing back C Days could help reduce this burden, giving us back some of the stability we need to handle our workload and manage our time better.

We’re asking the administration and school board to put our education and mental health first.
