Disallowing him from the team not only robs him of a chance to refine his skills but tarnishes the fairness and spirit of sportsmanship in the John Carroll Lacrosse team. Lacrosse, like all other sports, should serve to foster unity, camaraderie, and fairness, according to a report by the National Federation of State High School Associations. Unfortunately, Boyd's case represents a stark violation of these values we hold dear. We strongly urge the decision-makers to reconsider and allow Boyd to return to the Lacrosse team.
