Hundreds of thousands of animals are euthanised, linger in shelters or suffer in 'Puppy Factories' every year.  Feral cats ravage our native wildlife and backyard breeders carelessly add to the increasing number of unwanted and discarded animals month after month.  This has to end.  The introduction of mandatory desexing legislation and limits to domestic pet roaming backed by tough penalties for non-compliance will help decrease these statistics.  http://www.smh.com.au/environment/animals/time-to-cull-feral-cats-brumbies-and-deer-natural-resources-commission-review-finds-20160331-gnuyc6.html A recent review of pest management in NSW was part of Baird's pre-NSW election commitment.
