At REI’s recent annual member meeting, the company had an opportunity to announce meaningful action and take leadership on this critical issue.
Unfortunately, REI leadership failed to commit to phasing out toxic PFAS “forever chemicals” from the products it makes and sells. The company addressed the PFAS problem during the meeting following petitions signed by yourself and over 110,000 REI members and customers.
While it’s good they made a statement, instead of announcing meaningful action, they repeated the same old corporate excuses. Do you believe that?!
