The Issue

On April 13, 2026, I found myself in a situation where I had to take in two huskies overnight to prevent them from getting into a fight with a neighbor’s dogs. These dogs, owned by Mr. Chas Mulesky at 15 Kentucky Ave, Endicott, NY, have repeatedly been seen roaming the Endicott area unsupervised, causing concern among local residents. On this occasion, they got along well with my own dog and small children, highlighting their potential to thrive in a loving, properly equipped home.

Mr. Mulesky's huskies have been subjected to numerous incidents that have ended in social media discussions and public concern. Notably, Mr. Mulesky has been issued seven tickets on April 17, 2026, related to these dogs' lack of containment. Reports from community members have frequently documented seeing these huskies loose in the neighborhood, with some even taking them into their homes for their safety or contacting animal control.

An assessment of their current living conditions reveals concerning inadequacies: there are holes along the fence line and a notable absence of essential structures like a dog house, run line, or lead line. Such conditions are not conducive for the care and well-being of these active and sociable animals, who require a safe and secure environment.

Huskies are known for their need for ample exercise, secure enclosures, and proper living conditions that Mr. Mulesky currently fails to provide. It is imperative for the welfare of these dogs that they be relocated to a home that can meet these essential requirements. Not only would this improve their quality of life, but it would also alleviate the recurring issues faced by our community concerning their roaming.

By signing this petition, you are advocating for the relocation of these huskies to a responsible and suitable home. Let us ensure these gentle giants receive the care, love, and secure environment they deserve while ensuring the peace and safety of the Endicott community. Your support is crucial to make this change happen. Please sign this petition today to help provide these huskies with a loving and responsible home!
