From as long as I can remember till about 2014, Duncanville had a ballpark bursting with life. It was a place for different gatherings, a place to hangout with friends and make new connections within the community. Nowadays, the ballpark is a ghost town. An unused piece of land going to waste. I would like to bring life back into the park and bring it to more than it's former glory. I would like to have it be a place where churches can host different events, a place to hold different fundraisers, where children and adults can play ball again, even open up a farmer's market held once or twice a month on Saturdays from 8am - 1pm year round.

I plan to bring up this idea to the Tuscaloosa County Commission October 2nd at 9am. If this is something you would like to see happen, please sign for support! I also would love for you to be at the meeting!
