Hawaii politicians are calling for the resignation and possible medical license suspension or revocation of Dr. Lorrin Pang, MD, MPH, because they do not entirely concur with his professional/expert medical opinions.

Dr. Pang is the State of Hawaii, Department of Health Maui County District Office Chief, retired Walter Reed Institute of Research/WHO, Consultant to US Congress Medical Research Program and has six dozen peer reviewed medical publications (two on COVID-19).

He is a vocal advocate for vaccinations, informed consent and science.

In good faith, he has tried to educate all parties who may be experiencing vaccine hesitancy. 

He acknowledges that the types of concerns that have been raised in any public format should not be dismissed as frivolous, but instead deserve to be taken as real concerns and that education and communication, rather than dismissal and coercion are more effective methodologies to overcome vaccine hesitancy. 

While Dr. Pang has been, and continues to be a strong vocal advocate for vaccinations and for masks and social distancing, he has also acknowledged that clinical trials have been conducted, evaluating the use of Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine for symptoms of COVID.

He advocates that standard therapies (oxygen, steroids, monoclonal antibodies) should be used for COVID, and agrees with the FDA that Hydroxychloroquine or Ivermectin could prove harmful.

Due to Dr. Pang's views and acknowledgment that as vaccine breakthroughs occur the need to treat early and late stages of illness with DOCTOR PRESCRIBED treatments, such as these, there has been a complaint filed by the Hawaii medical board with RICO to review his medical practices.

Dr. Pang has been a longstanding voice of reason within our community. He is a brilliant doctor and has consistently protected this community's health and well-being.

Now we need to stand for him.
