I, a concerned pet owner from Ashford, Kent, am starting this petition to address the exorbitant and unregulated fees charged by veterinary clinics across the UK. The cost of treating our beloved animals has become so prohibitively expensive that many people simply cannot afford it. This issue affects not only our pets' well-being but also our emotional and financial stability.

Recently, Our beloved dog fell ill unexpectedly, and despite seeking immediate medical attention and trying various medications, his condition worsened rapidly. Sadly, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let him go . We was lucky enough we could afford the vet fee but no one should be put in a situation they can't . 

It is unacceptable that access to quality veterinary care is determined by one's geographical location or financial status. Every pet deserves equal access to life-saving treatments regardless of where they live or their owners' income levels. Therefore, I urge you to support this petition calling for regulated vet fees in the UK.
