"Today is 533 for me. I was 7 weeks pregnant with my second child at the time of layoff. Same as you, it couldn't be helped, they were struggling with sales and I was one of the highest paid employees. I've heard that since my layoff, others have left or also been let go and they are on a skeleton team at this point with a lot of low cost contractors instead. The market is in rough shape it seems."

Meet CF, former Creative Director at P- where she oversaw the Web and Branding departments, worked with web development contractors, assisted with sales calls, and managed clients and the creative team.

"Finally coming out the other end of it all as my second is going to be a year old in just over a month, and I'm hoping to get back into the hunt. The disheartening thing about it all, is now I need to find something that will cover not only our expense deficit, but also daycare for TWO children in order to not make our situation worse," C expressed her frustration through a comment. 

"I always thought with a Master's degree and my diverse work experience that it would be quick to find a new position when I was ready, but WOW was I wrong.
