No Christmas this year… or last. 

The bias in AI recruiting software has been noticed since as early as 2017. In 2023, the EEOC started a new branch aimed at regulating AI in talent acquisition. Since then, many studies have been published detailing how AI models are being trained and use criteria such as names, zip codes, voice analysis, age, sex, and race to screen applications. 

Since 2023, no substantial changes have occurred besides appointing a new head of governance in July. 

I’ve heard hundreds of stories similar to mine and they are utterly heartbreaking. We need personal stories to show the impact and destruction being done. Please support and share your story. And, more importantly, share this petition!
