I live just off of Bassett Avenue, near Chilworth Roundabout, and the peace of my residential area is continually disturbed by loud cars and motorbikes. These vehicles not only disrupt our tranquillity but also potentially illegally modify their exhausts and speed, posing a risk to all road users. We call upon the police to carry out regular checks for illegal exhausts and implement speed monitoring.

Further, we call upon the local council to install acoustic cameras on Bassett Avenue and Chilworth Roundabout. Such technology has been proven effective in other areas of the country, helping to reduce noise pollution by as much as 40%\*.
