Let's not also forget the adverse effects on wildlife. Birds, in particular, often flee their nests and can end up in unfamiliar environments, leading to increased vulnerability.

We need to demand regulations compelling fireworks manufacturers to produce silent fireworks, without compromising the display spectacle everyone enjoys. The largest producer of fireworks, China, has already implemented regulations against loud fireworks in over 500 cities, setting a successful precedent. It's time we followed suit.
