Fireworks sound like warfare.

Next time you hear one, close your eyes and listen, and you'll understand. 

Let's be clear though, this isn't a campaign to ban fireworks! 

It is a campaign to register firework displays. 

Do you agree that veterans who suffer from PTSD and others deserve to have some control over whether they have to listen to these sounds?

We think they do, especially because these sounds can be unexpected, last for some time and are so close to difficult times of the year like Remembrance Day.

It is a well recognised fact that unexpected fireworks interact badly with PTSD.
