Before I begin, I want to thank all of you who have taken the time to support my attempts to make #NoMoreEzraStreetParty a reality. Getting this petition noticed is harder than trying to sell ice to someone living in the Arctic but with your help it has received an impressive 500+ signatures and rising, and has been featured in newspapers and radio as far as British Columbia. 

From the very start I felt this street party was illegal, unsanctioned and very dangerous to the public. It has caused wanton damage to property, terrorized the residents of Ezra Street, increased municipal costs YOUR property tax dollars pay for, and enabled our young people to behave in a manner that is counterproductive to society and detrimental to their future as contributing members of said society. That position has not changed and no argument from anyone will make me change my mind to put an end to the Ezra Street Party.

However, I've felt I've gone far enough with promoting my concerns about this street party. It's time to leave this in the hands of our elected officials who are mandated through democratic will to serve us.

I have presented the petition link via Twitter. Once I declare victory, a formal Email will be sent directly to Regional Chair Karen Redman, with your signatures listed in an attached PDF file.

My final word to you is my most heartfelt gratitude for standing with me while I was mocked and ridiculed for my position. I mean it when I said I couldn't have done this without you: I would have given up a long time ago without you all being at my back.
