Hey Alison Rapp supporters! Sorry if my writing is less eloquent than usual, I'm immensely sleep deprived right now. :-( Anyway, we've more than doubled the number of signatures since yesterday, 260. That's awesome, and I'd like to thank all of you. So far, this petition has already become more successful than most petitions that are started on Change.org. According to their own stats, only 15% of petitions get 50 signatures or more. We have more than five times that now. Give yourselves a pat on the back! We need to embarrass Nintendo of America for what they did to Alison. Having been "fired" by InfoSec Institute for daring to write a computer security article about the danger of GamerGate and having gaters bombard them with emails, I know firsthand how much it stings when a big corporation would rather bow down to internet bullies than support their own (usually female) workers. 267 signatures is a great start, but not enough signatures for me to show this petition to NoA President Reggie Fils-Aime and have an impact. But... if each and every one of the 267 of us could get 3 more people to sign, we'd be up to 1,068. And if the 1,068 signatories could get another 3 more each, we'd have over 3,000. Etcetera, etcetera. When this petition hits at least 10,000 signatures, then I'd be confident to show it to Mr. Fils-Aime to demonstrate that a lot more of us support Alison than support Gamergate, and firing her is an awful PR move. So before you go to bed tonight, please, please, please share this petition on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, or email it to friends. I'm confident we can all each get at least a few more people to sign. We must take action quickly, before people forget about what NoA did to Alison and this issue loses momentum. You can use this URL to share the petition: http://bit.ly/NintendoCowardice and hashtag #NintendoCowardice. Thank you so much everyone! I'm going to go tweet about the petition again right now. Thanks, Kim
