Nintendo Switch accounts are being banned for reverse engineering and software modification as per the EULA agreement upon using/buying the Nintendo Switch. We wish to change the following statement in the EULA for the USA consoles"You may not... modify, reverse engineer, lease, rent, decompile, disassemble, distribute, offer for sale, or create derivative works of any portion of the Software, or bypass, modify, defeat, tamper with, or circumvent any of the functions or protections of the Console, unless otherwise permitted by law" to "You may not publish, lease, rent, distribute, offer for sale or copy any official software or hardware unless otherwise permitted by law. You may reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble and/or create derivative works of any portion of the Software, or bypass, modify, defeat, tamper with, or circumvent any of the functions or protections of the Console as long as the content, software and hardware modifications are free, open source and do not exploit flaws with user accounts, servers, official games or payment information. Nintendo holds no responsibility for any modification(s) that causes damage to the software hardware user or infrastructure due to any unofficial hardware or software changes." The changes proposed can be refined and edited if the changes are accepted.
