I live in Tile Hill, Coventry, and I already face enough health challenges without the added threat of radiation from a proposed 5G mast going up on the green over the road from my home. This is not just my battle—it affects every one of us in our community. Our concerns are shared by many who live here, as we all fear for our health, the well-being of our children, and the safety of the wildlife that makes our area beautiful.

The planned 5G mast will not only be an unsightly addition to our neighbourhood, but there are also broader implications. Scientific studies have raised concerns about potential health risks associated with exposure to 5G radiation. Though research is ongoing, the World Health Organization has acknowledged that electromagnetic fields, such as those emitted by this technology, need further investigation regarding their health impact.

Furthermore, the area where this mast is proposed is not just any piece of land. It is home to a nursery, a school, and numerous families who cherish the vibrant wildlife and lush trees which are at risk of being harmed. Our children play under those trees, and local families, including myself, appreciate the natural beauty that defines our community.

We believe it is essential to prioritise the health of our residents and preserve the environment we hold dear. Instead of placing a 5G mast in our community, we propose exploring alternative locations that won't threaten our health or disrupt our surroundings. Leveraging technology is important, but it should not come at the expense of our well-being or the natural environment.
