Across Lambeth & the rest of the UK, local elections will be taking place tomorrow.  It doesn't matter what ward you live in, how you vote will affect us.

Labour is the main party in Lambeth and the have made the concerted decision to continue with the money-guzzling regeneration scheme.  It will involve knocking down at least 914 council homes on six estates to replace them with only 884.  This is a reduction of 30.  Nearly 3,000 of the rest will be expensive, full value open sale properties. 

This is not going to solve the housing crisis!!

Join the voices of all the opposition parties - Green, Conservative, Lib Dem, Women's Equality, TUSC - and Vote Retrofit First. 

Retrofitting repairs and insulates all council housing stock to a high standard, providing skilled, local jobs; preventing fuel poverty; and future-proofing homes for years to come.

Join with our voice to Save Central Hill Estate, Cressingham Gardens and the other estates facing demolition.  It is time to vote for a dramatic change towards housing and this will not come from supporting Labour in this local election.

More families could be housed now with better management of the council's existing stock & suitable infill than will ever be produced by this almost £2bn project, subsidized by the council's rental income, people's Council Tax & some of the £320m debt from the government that was taken out in the past four & a half years alone.
