The Issue

My neighborhood became a victim to gang affiliation and youth crime. It's time to create change within the Juvenile Justice System by adding more resources to their rehabilitation process. We need a better system in youth detention centers that will allow for improved outcomes when these young individuals return to our community.

We stand firmly in support of the G.R.E.A.T program, which targets gang prevention primarily. Studies show that effective rehabilitation programs can reduce recidivism rates by up to 20% (National Institute of Justice). By implementing comprehensive programs like G.R.E.A.T, we can provide at-risk youth with the tools they need to lead productive lives and break free from cycles of crime.

Sign this petition if you believe in giving our youth a second chance through proper rehabilitation and support systems.
