Reform Tax Laws for Religious Organisations and Recognize Groups as Domestic Terrorists

Reform Tax Laws for Religious Organisations and Recognize Groups as Domestic Terrorists
The issue
New Zealand currently allows religious organisations and charities, particularly churches, to enjoy Exempt income status, a position which many believe creates loopholes for financial exploitation. We urge the New Zealand Government to review and reform these laws, ensuring a fair economic landscape.
Furthermore, we are deeply concerned about the potential harmful societal effects of groups like the Destiny Church and the Man Up group, led by Brian Tamaki. The actions and ideologies propagated by these organisations are highly controversial and potentially threatening to a peaceful society, reminding us of the importance of vigilance against potential domestic terrorism.
This petition calls for the classification of Brian Tamaki and his associated organisations such as The Destiny Church and Man Up Group as "domestic terrorists", in line with the definitions outlined in The Terrorism Suppression Act 2002. This is a necessary measure to protect the integrity and safety of the citizens of New Zealand.
It's important that our laws reflect a progressive and secure society.
We urge you to sign this petition and call on the New Zealand government to reform their tax laws for religious organisations and recognise the potential dangers of certain groups operating within our borders.
The time for change is NOW.
