This is exactly why we refuse to stay silent!!

How many more families have to be destroyed before California finally listens?

How many more children have to be buried or seriously hurt?!

How many more parents have to live with the unbearable pain of losing a child while the system creates loopholes for the people who caused that pain? Prop 57 was sold to voters as a law for non-violent offenders.
So that is what Californians were told.
But over time, court rulings and the way the law is being applied have opened the door far beyond that promise.

Today, even some convicted sexually violent predators can be considered for early release.

Read that again!

People convicted of horrific crimes against children and families can still be given a path to early release consideration. And these decisions are no longer always being made in a courtroom. They can now be placed in the hands of the Board of Parole Hearings. That should outrage every parent in this state.

This is why we fight!

We fight for the children who no longer have a voice!

We fight for the families left broken by violent crime!

We fight for the victims who deserve justice!

We fight for accountability when minors commit murder or other serious violent crimes!

We fight for laws that protect innocent lives not offenders!

We fight so no other family has to endure what ours has endured!

This is what Lorenso’s Law stands for.

Lorenso’s Law is about demanding real accountability when a child is murdered.

It is about closing the gaps in California law that have left families feeling abandoned by the very system that was supposed to protect them.

It is about making sure violent crimes committed by minors are treated with the seriousness they deserve.

It is about putting victims, children, and public safety first.

And when it comes to sexually violent predators, there should be NO loopholes.

NO early release.

NO excuses.

This is not about politics.

This is not about revenge.

This is about justice.

This is about truth.

This is about protecting our children before another family is forced to live this nightmare.

We are asking California to wake up.

We are asking voters to stand with victims.

We are asking lawmakers to stop protecting offenders with broken laws.
