My name is Kiefer Knight and I am a proud member of this community. Each day, I proudly contribute to the public services that keep our society running. My job requires constant vigilance and being on-call round the clock. For this reason, I have to keep my commercial vehicle at home to avoid any delays when a call of duty arrives. This vehicle is vital not only for my job but also as a source of income to support my family. 

However, the existing Homeowner Association (HOA) rules prohibit the parking of commercial vehicles in our residential neighborhood. I find these rules incredibly restrictive as they directly impact my capability to carry out my civic duty and by extension, affect my family's livelihood.

This is an issue that might not only be affecting me but other hardworking, devoted members of our community. I recommend that we replace the current bylaw to allow for service trucks and cargo vans with or without commercial logos as long as they are in legal and operable condition. 

We appeal to the HOA to consider reforming these parking regulations. Neighbors, colleagues, and anyone who understands the strain that these kind of restrictions impose on individuals and families, your support is invaluable. We request that the HOA revisit these regulations in order to accommodate the professionals and their families who may depend on such vehicles for their livelihood.
