These new CDL laws they have out now were put into place to help curve the horrific accidents that has been happening with CDL drivers all across America. They put the laws in place for every CDL driver in America. But the laws that they have do not and should not apply to all CDL drivers. Some of us have CDL’s but do not drive OTR. Or the jobs that we drive for don’t exceed the driving limits that are set for CDL drivers to stop driving or be deemed “Out of Service.” They just set these new laws for all CDL drivers across the board and because of that, some people are now out of work or have lost their license all together. They need to reevaluate some of these laws. Some drivers are delivery drivers. Where they are constantly in and out of their trucks. Or they might get be working for a company where they go to different locations so they are not behind the wheel constantly. For people such like myself and others like this, we now get treated like an OTR driver and that is not fair. If we do not pass the extra requirements put into law now, our licenses are being revoked. And that is not fair. They should have in those laws certain stipulations for people like us. There should be different DOT requirements and physicals for different Class CDL drivers. Sign this petition and help me get the government to reevaluate these new laws again.  Because hard working people should loose their livelihoods behind other negligent drivers
