I am overwhelmed with gratitude for every single person who has lent their voice to our cause by signing the petition to release my son from Dixtan and allow him to stay in Australia.

Your unwavering support has been a beacon of hope during these challenging times.

Please, can you help my petition reach 30,000 signatures, by sharing it with like-minded friends and family?

I am thrilled to share a significant development since my last update. With your continued support and assistance, we were able to take the petition directly to Canberra.

There, we had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Julian Hill, the Member of Parliament for the electorate in which I reside. Additionally, we engaged in constructive discussions with Dr. Andrew Charlton, Federal MP for Parramatta. These meetings were instrumental in amplifying our message and advocating for our cause on a national level.

Furthermore, our efforts caught the attention of Senator Nick McKim, who graciously tabled our petition in the Senate. This crucial step has helped elevate the urgency of our plea and ensures that our voices are heard by decision-makers at the highest levels of government.

As we move forward, I am deeply encouraged by the progress we have made together. However, our work is far from over. With your continued support, we will maintain the pressure on politicians to heed our call for justice not just for my son, but for all refugees living in uncertainty.

Together, we can make a difference and strive for a more compassionate and inclusive society.

Thank you once again for standing with us in solidarity.
