Reestablish Long Theatrical Windows for Films to Preserve Cinematic Art

Reestablish Long Theatrical Windows for Films to Preserve Cinematic Art
The Issue
I am an individual with autism, Tourettes, and PTSD whose dreams have often been dismissed or stifled by my own family. Despite this, I've never let go of my passion for cinema, especially anime. I've dreamed of opening an anime-themed movie theater chain. Unfortunately, I missed out on many anime exhibitions, such as Pokémon (my favorite franchise), due to misconceptions and fears created in me about movie theaters by my family.
Today, the art of viewing films in a theater is dying - a sad truth that is impacting my dream and countless others' experiences. The industry is forgetting that movie theaters hold a special place in many people's hearts, mine included. They are more than just brick-and-mortar buildings; they are sanctuaries of inspiration, shared emotion, and collective experiences.
A key to rescuing this century-old institution is to reestablish longer theatrical windows for films. This shift could rejuvenate the industry and rekindle people's love for the communal cinematic experience. Of course, for this to happen, studios and movie theaters must work together to ensure this art form's survival.
I implore everybody who holds cinema dear to their hearts to rally behind this cause. Let's work together to save our beloved theaters and keep cinema alive. Sign this petition to advocate for the return of lengthy theatrical windows and the continued existence of movie theaters.
UPDATE - We need to get to ten verified signatures in order to get started. We need to stop this massive streaming consumption by listening to moviegoers about how can movie theaters be better, enforce better, sound better, project better, and much more. We want all people around the world to not only come to the movies but also ALWAYS have a pleasant, most positive experience at the movies.
