For years, Islands Fine Burgers & Drinks was more than just a restaurant to my family and me. As a teenager they provided me one of my first jobs as a host. It was a tradition, a staple of our neighborhood in Marina del Rey. We gathered there for the best burgers and fries at reasonable prices, not to mention the coldest beers in the west. However, this beloved establishment is no longer with us.

The sudden absence of Islands has left a void in our community that no other restaurant can fill. The unique atmosphere it provided brought people together and created lasting memories for many families like mine.

With its quality food and affordable prices, Islands contributed significantly to this trend.
