We believe that athletes competing at the highest level of our sport, who are going to bear maximal loads and near maximal loads for multiple reps, should be equiped with the footwear that they are most familiar with, and which best suits their individual equipment needs.

We also believe that forcing athletes to wear Reebok shoes hurts your image and brand in our eyes. We are thankful for the exposure that you, Reebok, have brought to our sport, but we do not support your forceful demand that Games' athletes wear your shoes. Such actions do not make us want to buy your shoes.

Please remember that this is, after all, the Reebok CrossFit Games and not the CrossFit Reebok Games.
