Dear supporters, I apologize for the delay in posting this update. It was due to the fact the I was awaiting the reply from our government for the RTI filed by one of our supporters who does not wish to be named for security reasons. I have attached the copy of the reply by the government below. Firstly a big Applause and thanks for the brave heart for filing this RTI. We all thank you. I would like to tell you all that the reply in general was terribly disappointing due the lack of light shed on the issue. Also, i personally felt that there were some discrepancies or lack of clarity in the answer given as the government did not specify which points or sub sections under the industrial disputes act specifies working hours. Not much information was provided in general. One small hurdle won't stop me from fighting against this grave injustice. In the upcoming months i personally will be sending an RTI request. As an RTI would only provide information and no action, I am also looking into filing a PIL (public interest litigation) wherein the matter of public welfare is handled by our honourable courts. I have to get a lawyer's opinion and advice regarding the same. If any of our petitioners know about this then your feedback is much appreciated.
