Seriously ! When will the government take action. Lakhs of Indians are screaming their hearts out, crying for help, yet the government doesn't think of this as an important cause. Something that should be paid attention too. Here we struggle day after day, putting in extra unpaid hours, then travelling to and from work in crowded transports only to repeat the procedure for the rest of our lives and the government is silent as always. It hurts the current Modi government to even think of reducing the working hours because it might affect their businessmen/women sponsors. Worst of all are the bachelors who have nothing to go home to when living in a city other than their hometown. The time spent by them staying late in the office creates a great damage to the work culture for everyone else. We all know about the shops and establishment act enacted by the government, given to us as a constitutional right, that Very Clearly states that the number of working hours in a day shouldn't exceed 9 is violated and blatantly ignored by private companies. Our labour minister Mr. Bandaru Dattatreya has been doing nothing more than sitting in his AC office, warming his seat and occasionally holding useless conferences to take pictures, giving the excuse of work. We needed someone as prompt, intelligent and understanding as Mrs. Sushma Swaraj as our labour minister. -Vinod Nair (Haven't given up)
