I have some exciting news to share! Tomorrow (Aug 25) a small group of us will be meeting with the Village Board and others regarding lowering the speed limit at a Special Workshop! The meeting will take place prior to the Village Board meeting. At every Board meeting, they allow "Public Comment" and, to avoid diluting the message with repeated in-person comments, they allow this to be submitted digitally. The comments are then shared with the board and included in the official minutes from the meeting. That said, we'd love to show as much community support as possible at tomorrow's meeting through Public Comment on their website. If you'd like to continue showing your support to reduce the speed limit and are able to share a short comment, it would make a big difference in our efforts!
