Reduce Salt Rd Speed Limit to 40 MPH

Reduce Salt Rd Speed Limit to 40 MPH

The Issue

Sick of playing Russian Roulette with cars doing 70 every time you pull out of your driveway? Afraid to let your kids play in the front yard in fear a car may lose control and barrel into them? Let's do something about it and make the Salt Rd drag strip safer! The section of Salt Rd between Greiner and County has become significantly more residential over the past decade. It is the only North/South road in Clarence with a speed limit of 55, all others have speed limits ranging between 30 and 45. Please sign this petition to reduce the speed limit on our stretch to 40 MPH. Once we have a significant enough number of signatures, the petition will be presented to both the Clarence Town Board and Highway Department to request action. Thank you in advance for your participation!  We will provide progress updates on the webpage.

Sincerely, Your Salt Rd Neighbors, The Morgante Family
