I am a business owner on the beautiful St Pete Beach. Our establishment, like many others, faces a significant challenge – we have no designated parking. The city offered us a solution: $60 per day per space. This is an insurmountable cost for a small business already under financial stress.

This issue doesn't just affect business owners; it burdens our dedicated employees who are paying hundreds of dollars a week just to come to work. It’s not uncommon for them to collect parking fines that add to the financial strain. This situation is hardly sustainable and unfair to those who work and contribute to our vibrant beach community.

Moreover, residents also bear the brunt of exorbitant parking fees.
