What
The sound level of muezzin loudspeaker broadcasts must be reduced so we are not disturbed during day or night.

The existing sound laws and regulations must be enforced to reduce the sound level (not turn off the sound).

While we understand that for political and religious reasons the existing laws are not enforced, our rights to peace and quiet have been ignored for too long. 

Why
The sound level of muezzin loudspeakers is so loud every day, including Shabbat and chagim, that...

- we are awakened from sleep around 04:00. We cannot sleep with windows open without being disturbed. Some of us even wear earplugs to block out the loud noise

- we must close our windows when we hear the noise, even during the hours of 06:00 - 23:00. 

- we cannot be outside in our neighborhood to read, think, sleep, walk, or talk with others without being disturbed

- we cannot pray in beit knesset or outside without being disturbed.

לא ניתן להתפלל בבית הכנסת או בחוץ -
