Hello Emma Township lake community members please sign this petition to reduce over-lighting new roundabout.

We are very concerned about the overabundance of LED street lights to be installed at the new roundabout at county Road 40 & 7.

We can't change the roundabout but we can reduce its impact from a lighting perspective

16 LED street lights are planned for installation.

8 extend up to 500+' from intersection towards Gilmore Lake, Big Sand Lake, Lake Emma and hunting property to the north on 7.

Remove 8 LED that extend beyond the roundabout.  2 are literally at the end of our driveway.

LED lighting currently 16 LED street lights in the middle of the woods.
can reduce to 8 LED lights

2 LEDs will be at the end of our driveway 500+' from the intersection. This is repeated in every direction.

Other roundabouts do not have lighting so far from intersection.

We have minimal traffic.  all essentially local. serves no towns directly or neighborhoods,  very rural area.  very low and local traffic pattern.

Stonebrooke Engineering is the designer and says they are a flexible, customizable organization.  Adam Gruis Asst County Engineer said there is flexibility in this area.  Its time to respect residents and be flexible.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Keep enjoying and maintaining our beautiful wooded lake country.
