Last week on Monday it was “National Women’s Checkup Day” in the US! 

How great is it to be reminded to have a Yearly Women’s Health Check Up! In the UK we very often have to fight with our GP to be heard & checked properly, instead of being given the opportunity to go every year.

As you read through the article, you may notice their focus on prevention and compare that to our system which is ONLY reactive. 

I appreciate that every country has a different healthcare system but women are the same all over the world. If one country can dedicate "National" Women's Checkup Day, which shows it clearly understands the importance of Women's Health and Annual Check-Ups, why doesn't the UK want to take Women's Health more seriously?
