I was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma rare cancer that affects only 6 in 1 million women but is highly aggressive. I'm alive because I saw a private gynaecologist but for months my GP ignored my symptoms & recommended me Activia Yogurt. 
 
Leiomyosarcoma does not usually respond to any treatments and chemotherapy or radiotherapy are sometimes inadequate. 
 
I am so grateful that I was diagnosed in time to save my life. 
In the UK women don’t have any regular overall women’s health check ups, which are essential for early diagnosis. This is a common practice in lots of countries worldwide!  
My terrible and scary experience inspired me to start a petition for changes to women’s health and save many other women’s lives. Every woman deserves better healthcare and a beautiful life! This must change!
