This time last year I started my petition for yearly women’s health check ups and one year later I was invited by the wonderful charity Eve Appeal to an afternoon tea at Parliament (House of Commons) hosted by the lovely MP Sharon Hodgson, (Shadow Minister for Public Health) to mark the start of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month!

In the UK 58% of cases of ovarian cancer are diagnosed too late at stage 3 and 4.

Recently the UK was ranked 45th out of 59 countries in a study on Ovarian cancer survival rates. This is shocking!
