Spent two hours yesterday discussing the new parking charges with LCC, They stated  from data collected they have not seen any reduction in the use of car parks due to the new price increase. The  two hour charge was reinstated but the 5hr will still be restricted to only a number of car parks. They have not committed to reducing any charges. The data will be reviewed again in a few months. Looks like the only way to make them listen is if it’s practical to stop using the car parks if revenue drops they will have no option but to reduce the prices so people will use the car parks again. Another meeting with the council will take place in a couple of months. Nows the time to make a stand and don’t use the car parks.
