Going through high school is stressful enough, but with hours of homework each night, the bit of time you have to yourself after school, turns into more work. Students in high school work while in school hard enough, and homework on top of it is even worse. Studies have shown that students work better when under less stress, and when homework causes stress, can put a strain on your work, and your life. As a former high school student, I can say that putting a stop to or even just reducing homework for students, can benefit students in ways teachers and even parents cannot understand.
