Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, students at BYU have been asked to return home in order to prevent the spreading of the virus and also to protect the students. 

Students who have a contract at CollegePlace Provo are now being forced to pay their rent up until August 2020, even though they are not living there. 

BYU has suggested to each apartment complex that they "have the best interest of the students in mind" and many apartment complexes (ex: the Village) have terminated their leases due to the current circumstance we are all in.

CollegePlace Provo has refused to do so, and has said that we are still required to pay our $630+ rent every month with total disregard to the council that they should have "the best interest of the students in mind."

***NOT TO MENTION, it has been CONFIRMED that there is someone who is currently LIVING AT COLLEGPLACE PROVO who has been DIAGNOSED with Covid-19. It is not a SAFE place for us to live at this time. *** (the person diagnosed has given me permission to post this statement)
