Hi RedEl Families,

Thank you for signing the petition to get more support for the students, staff and teachers at RedEl. A few concerned parents met with the Deputy Superintendent and Associate Superintendent of LWSD today voicing our concerns over many things including student safety, lack of teacher support, large class sizes at RedEl, etc. 

These superintendents listed long term plans for RedEl (increasing office staff, introducing a behavioral specialist to teach staff/teachers de-escalation techniques, adding a fence, etc) however did not have actionable, concrete, short term plans for the remainder of this school year. 

To convey the urgency that we need change NOW, please share your experiences and concerns (especially about student safety) HERE. 

Please save the date and attend! The next LWSD board meeting is May 6th at 7pm at the LWSD administrative offices at Redmond Town Center. We are stronger together. The more parents can attend the board meeting, the more attention the board will focus on RedEl’s needs. Thank you so much!
