UPDATE Tues. 07/18/2023
RE
EXECUTIVE  PAROLE BOARD MEETING: 9:00 AM, TUESDAY, JULY 18,2023
INMATE # G32227 DAMIEN GUERREO

There were 3 inmates up for parole this morning before Guerrero, of those inmates, only two had anyone speak to the board on their behalf, one speaker each.

When Guerrero's case was called, no one spoke on his behalf, not even his own family.

Including myself, there were 10 speakers against Guerrero's release, including two San Bernardino County  Deputy DA's ,Katherine Norman, and Connie Lasky, of the Lifer Parole Unit. The SBCDA has worked with and supported our effort since 2017.

I know for a fact that 32 emails and 3 video statements were sent and received by this parole board by Thursday,July 13, 2023 (per confirmation emails from the parole board site )

Our  two petition sites have collected over 3,400 petition signatures, all of which were sent to the Parole Board, the receipt of which was again confirmed by the parole board site

Both petition sites have over 200 comments between them wherein the signatories committed to sending separate statement letters asking the Board to deny Guerrero's Parole.

I can't confirm they actually followed through as I do not know the people other than by name and change.org certified authentication

But, if only half actually did send the promised emails and letters, that is 100 in less than one full week .

To date there have been multiple documentaries and dramatizations of the gruesome murder of 18 year-old Kelly Bullwinkle, perpetrated by Damien Guerrero and Kinzie Noordman. The most recent of which, I, along with several others who were close to, and familiar with the victim and the two killers, participated.

(Mean Girl Murders (2023) S 01 E03 Goth Girl Gone) the episode was released in March 2023.

Every single show affirms and comes to the same conclusion, that Guerrero is an unrepentant, calculating sociopath, who preys on the weak and vulnerable.

Combine this with the fact that it has been the persistent opinion shown to the Parole Board (past and present) by the court that convicted Guerrero, the San Bernardino County District Attorney,  Governor Newsom, past parole board commissioners, law enforcement, former friends, classmates, and Redlands residents that Guerrero represents a clear danger to the public at large and especially to young women in our community .

How can the commissioners disregard this level of response?

Regardless of the outcome - I want to thank you all for everything you did to advocate for Kelly and champion this cause.

The Board has 24 hours to post their decision, as soon as I know, I will update the sites.

Fingers crossed.

Robb
