Redlands Council to build Dirt Jumps/skills park

Redlands Council to build Dirt Jumps/skills park
The issue
The community is very important to me, and having a new facility like promotes community growth as well as having a good hobby and good fun and fitness.
In the past couple of years, locals have been scouting around in bushland looking for good areas to build a jump line for their MTBs. This area is potentially dangerous, with snakes and other dangerous animals calling these areas home. When jumps are built, council is the first to put up signs and shut it down, before long there will be either people destroying the trails or a mini excavator destroying trails. The council is happy to keep destroying trails, but doesn't do anything about creating an environment for people to go to and do jumps and have fun with their friends, without having to go in a car and drive somewhere.
It doesn't take very long to look around the local area and realise that MTBs are extremely popular. Given a large population of these people are young and unlicensed, there needs to be a place for these riders to go and do some jumps and have fun. Essentially it will be a safe place for everyone, there can be jump lines from green all the way to black and can choose your own path depending on skill level. Then, council doesn't have to worry about having to destroy illegal jumps anymore, having this in the area actually makes their job easier.
Having this would just make the local area better. People will travel there to ride and will bring money into the local economy with people stopping at Cafes and other small local businesses. It will be surprising to the council how good this will be for many reasons. It is fun and active and is great for fitness and is great for social activities. Riders will be able to choose what they feel they can do, and is a great opportunity to expand skills, have fun and get fit all at the same time. Council will then no longer need to worry about bush jumps because there will be no need, it just makes council's job easier.
This promotes a good hobby, fun and fitness and a local riding spot is the perfect place for this. It can keep kids busy and entertained which can lower the rising youth crime rates in the local area.
All it has to be is something similar to what the Ashgrove dirt jumps are, the only difference is the jumps will then be in the Redlands. The demand for a space like this is high, and it would be greatly appreciated by the community. It will be a place that everyone can enjoy and have fun.
Please share online with as many people as you can to spread the word and make this happen!
Thank you for showing your support!! It is greatly appreciated!!
