Koalas are rapidly becoming an endangered species in South East Queensland.

This development in Wellington St Ormiston will destroy an important Koala corridor of eucalypts that will subject koalas to severe stress not only from dogs, as they will have to cross properties on ground, but from loss of established food source that they rely on. The developers have to plant new trees but by the time these are mature enough to be a food source the Koalas will be extinct.
