This is an image of Tampa's current flag. Never seen it? You're not alone. 

For too long Tampa has had a flag that is poorly designed. Furthermore, it does not represent the unique cultural and historical identity of the city of Tampa, and frankly we we can do better. Every great city deserves a great city flag. Tampa is no exception. 

We began this petition to request that officials in the city government create a public design competition to select a new city flag. If this petition is successful we have the chance to rally as a city under a new symbol of civic pride.
